The men of Real Housewives of Atlanta stopped by Bethenny this week to dish details about their experience on the hit show.
Many fans believe these guys are raking in big bucks for their supporting roles, it turns out they don’t earn a penny for their reality TV gigs. Instead, Peter Thomas, Gregg Leakes and Apollo Nida insist they get paid for their “part time” work in “perks and benefits.”
While Apollo did not address his current legal woes, he did admit that jumping into the world of reality television was especially jolting for him right out of prison.
“I think so coming from prison, doing six years in prison and then being thrown into a TV show was kind of difficult and I think for the first time coming off I was very quiet and kind of shy, it was just a difficult transition for me,” he said.
The guys also weighed in on the strip club debate and Phaedra Parks joined the conversation in support of adult entertainers.
“Well anyone who knows me I represent some of the hottest adult entertainers in Atlanta and have been for almost twenty years now so I have no problems with it. I actually frequent them myself to visit my clients as well,” she said.
“Atlanta is really a strip club city. It’s not considered sleazy in Atlanta to go to a strip club because it’s probably 50/50 men and women there at all times as patrons, not as dancers.”
